About us

Maa Ganga College Of Nursing Washim is one of the best nursing colleges in Maharashtra. It was established in the year 2006. It is a unit of Vasundhara Technical Institute, Washim. The institute is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). The college is approved by the Government of Maharashtra, The Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC), Indian Nursing Council (INC), and Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education. The trust initiated nursing education with ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) in 2006 and added GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) in 2020 and B.Sc. Nursing courses in 2023.

This college has been established to provide platform for the candidates interested in nursing as a career. Our aim is to provide a high quality, skilled & oriented education to meet the needs of the society as a whole. The primary mission is to prepare students for beginning and advanced practice to render quality nursing care and to prepare the nurse to meet the new health challenges of the society.

The population of our country is increasing drastically and the health care becoming more complex, the amount of knowledge needed by nurses mounts daily-Today's nurses must be educated both to care for patients and to manage to sophisticated equipments & technology found in today's & tomorrows facility
